FAQ
Questions before you fly
Will my phone work with an eSIM?
Most iPhones from the XS onwards, recent Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy models, and many other Android phones support eSIM. Your phone must also be carrier-unlocked. We'll show a compatibility check before you pay.
When does my plan start?
For most plans, validity starts when the eSIM first connects at your destination, not when you buy it. A few start when you install them; the plan details show which.
Can I keep my WhatsApp and home number?
Yes. The eSIM only handles data. Your physical SIM stays in the phone, so your number, WhatsApp and iMessage keep working.
Can I use my phone as a hotspot?
On plans marked “Hotspot”, yes. Not every network partner says whether hotspot is allowed, so if a plan doesn't say and you need it, ask us before you buy.
What if I run out of data?
You'll get alerts as you approach your limit. You can top up or renew from your dashboard, or switch on auto-renew so it happens automatically.
What happens if my eSIM can't be issued?
Orders are only completed once the network provider confirms your eSIM. If that fails, you won't lose your payment: we retry, and if it still can't be issued, we refund you.
