Gift card and gift eSIM terms

Last updated 13 October 2026

Effective date: [October 10 2026]

These terms cover Simvaya gift cards and eSIMs bought as gifts. They add to our Terms of service.

Gift cards

  • A gift card has a value in one currency and a code. The person who receives it redeems the code in Dashboard > Gift cards, and the value goes into their Simvaya wallet to spend on any eSIM, top-up or number.
  • A gift card must be redeemed within 24 months of purchase (the date is on the card). After that it expires and can't be used. Once redeemed, the wallet balance doesn't expire.
  • Gift cards can't be exchanged for cash, reloaded, or used to buy other gift cards, except where the law says otherwise.
  • Keep the code safe: anyone who has it can redeem it. We can't replace a code that someone else has redeemed, but if you think it has been stolen before it was redeemed, contact us quickly and we will try to stop it.
  • An unredeemed gift card can be refunded to the buyer within 30 days of purchase. A redeemed one can't.

Gift eSIMs

  • You can buy an eSIM for someone else and send it to them with a message. They receive an email with a link to claim and install it.
  • Check that their phone supports eSIM before you buy; see our supported devices page.
  • The recipient must follow our terms when using the eSIM. The Refund policy applies, with any refund paid to the buyer.
  • We use the recipient's name and email only to deliver the gift and help them install it.
